CHERVELLE ATHENA is a lens-based visual artist from Waitākere, Tāmaki Makaurau, and is currently a PhD candidate at Auckland University of Technology. In 2019, Chervelle won the Te Ara Auaha Dean’s Award for Excellence in Postgraduate Study from Auckland University of Technology, and was also awarded The Wallace Arts Trust Premier Postgraduate Award in 2018.
